Once upon a time, in the not-so-distant past, I was on the hunt for the perfect office space. Little did I know, my quest would lead to something far more magical – the birth of Beresheet Guesthouse.

It all began one fateful evening over dinner with our dear friend Melanie. As we enjoyed our meal, she told me of the House for Sale. The very next day, my husband and I (better known as “The A Team” in our household) decided to take a closer look. And just like that, it was love at first sight – with a property, of course!

We knew right then and there that this was more than just a business opportunity. It was the start of a new chapter in our lives, one filled with the excitement of renovation, the joys of creativity, and the occasional coffee-fueled late-night planning session.

With determination, a dash of humor, and a whole lot of love, we transformed that charming building into five unique apartments, each with its own character and story. Along the way, our marriage got a little renovation of its own – as we hammered, painted, and decorated, we rediscovered the spark that brought us together in the first place.

Beresheet is our love story in bricks and mortar. Each apartment – from The Library to The Queen, Salt and Pepper, Sunny Bali, and The Bachelor – reflects not just our style, but also a piece of our hearts. They offer a feeling of being away from home, yet still very much at home.
